Core responsibilities typically include:
- Beverage Preparation: Crafting specialty coffees (espressos, lattes, cold brews) and other drinks to standard recipes with high quality.
- Customer Service: Greeting guests warmly, making menu recommendations, handling special dietary requests, and processing payments.
- Food Service: Assisting with plating, heating pastries, and serving food orders.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintaining a spotless coffee station, cleaning espresso machines, and keeping seating areas sanitized.
- Stock & Inventory: Monitoring ingredient levels, restocking supplies, and reporting shortages.
- Team Support: Assisting with opening/closing duties and stepping into different roles (like dishwashing or floor sweeping) as needed
