Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and student-focused Academic Mentor to guide and support students throughout their academic journey. The role involves mentoring students, monitoring academic progress, addressing student concerns, and ensuring a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students
- Monitor student attendance, performance, and progress
- Support students in achieving academic and career goals
- Conduct regular follow-ups with students regarding classes, assignments, and exams
- Address student concerns and coordinate with faculty when required
- Motivate and encourage students to improve performance and engagement
- Maintain student records and prepare progress reports
- Coordinate with parents/guardians when necessary
- Ensure a supportive and positive learning environment
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong mentoring, counselling, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle students professionally and empathetically
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office proficiency
- Prior experience in academic counselling, mentoring, or student support is preferred
- Freshers with good communication and coordination skills can also apply
