The Impact You'll Make
As a Mechanical Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of engineering products throughout the manufacturing process. Working closely with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers, you will help maintain the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives that support successful project delivery.
Your expertise will contribute to building confidence in every product that leaves our facility and reinforce RAAD Systems' commitment to engineering excellence.
What You'll Do
Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with engineering and quality requirements.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T to verify product conformance.
Conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagrams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, production, and supplier teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Develop, maintain, and update quality documentation, inspection reports, and engineering records.
Support internal and external quality audits while ensuring compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
Monitor quality performance metrics and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
Support supplier quality activities and assist in resolving quality-related issues as required.
Who We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical quality engineering or a related quality role.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and mechanical inspection techniques.
Hands-on experience using precision inspection equipment such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other quality inspection tools.
Experience working within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Quality Management Systems (QMS)
