Position: Service Engineer – Battery Pack Service

Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Service Engineer to exclusively support the diagnostics, repair of battery packs used in electric vehicles[3 wheeler & 4 wheeler].
This role is focused solely on battery pack service. The engineer will be based out of Patna, Bihar and will be responsible for providing dedicated battery pack service support to all dealer locations across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, ensuring timely resolution of battery-related complaints and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
● Diagnose, troubleshoot, software flashing and repair battery packs at the customer/dealer locations.
● Attend battery pack complaint calls from all locations around Bihar within defined response-time SLAs.
● Ensure timely resolution of battery pack complaints, minimal vehicle downtime, and high customer satisfaction across all assigned locations.
● Perform CAN tool and BMS software handling, including firmware flashing and updates
● Periodic health checks, and capacity/cell-level testing of battery packs at dealer/customer sites.
● Maintain accurate battery service records, complaint logs, and battery spare-parts consumption reports for each location.
● Coordinate with the head office for battery complaint tracking, spare parts availability and battery warranty claim processing.
● Provide basic technical guidance/training to customer/dealer staff on safe battery handling and storage.
● Follow all safety protocols (electrical & thermal) applicable to high-voltage battery handling.
Required Skills
● knowledge of battery packs and BMS.
● Ability to work independently across multiple locations with a strong customer-centric approach
● Hands-on experience with Multimeters and other battery diagnostic tools [P-CAN].
● Ability to read and interpret battery pack wiring/electrical schematics.
● Understanding of high-voltage safety procedures for battery handling.
● Good communication skills in Local language, English, and Hindi.
● MS Office proficiency and strong problem-solving skills.
● Willingness to travel across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh
Experience
● 3–5 years of field service experience specifically in electric vehicle / battery pack service
● Prior experience as ASM/TSM or in a battery pack repair/refurbishment role.
Travel Requirement
● Travel (70–80%) across Bihar and Uttar Pradesh required
● Must be based at Patna, Bihar.
Pay: Up to ₹500,000.00 per year
