Job Summary
DES-TECH Academy is seeking an AutoCAD / Revit MEP Faculty to deliver classroom training in HVAC and MEP design software. The ideal candidate should have sound technical knowledge of HVAC system design, drafting, and relevant software applications, along with the ability to effectively train engineering students through both theoretical and practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom training in AutoCAD and Revit MEP for HVAC/MEP design and drafting.
- Conduct theory and hands-on practical sessions related to HVAC and MEP systems.
- Train students in HVAC design calculations and industry-standard design practices.
- Provide practical training using HVAC software tools.
- Guide students in developing HVAC drafting and design projects.
- Explain HVAC design concepts, codes, standards, and best practices.
- Assess student performance through assignments, practical exercises, and evaluations.
- Provide mentoring and technical support to students throughout the training program.
- Keep course content updated with current industry practices and software developments.
Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- AutoCAD (HVAC/MEP Drafting)
- Revit MEP
- HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)
- E20 Software
- Duct Sizer
- Pipe Sizer
- HVAC Load Calculations
- HVAC System Design
- Air Distribution System Design
- MEP Design Fundamentals
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of HVAC and MEP design principles.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in a classroom environment.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in HVAC/MEP training is preferred.
- Candidates with practical HVAC design experience are encouraged to apply.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC design software may also apply.
