Job Summary
We are looking for energetic, confident, and result-oriented Business Development Executives (BDEs) to expand DAST's presence across schools in Bangalore.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying prospective schools, meeting Principals, Directors, Trustees, and school management teams, presenting DAST's educational programs, organizing workshops, and converting schools into long-term institutional partners.
This is a field-based role best suited for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, travelling, and achieving sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesSchool Outreach & Lead Generation
- Identify CBSE, ICSE, State Board, IB, and International Schools.
- Build and maintain a database of prospective schools.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings with school decision-makers.
- Expand DAST's institutional network across assigned territories.
Business Development
- Visit schools and conduct professional presentations.
- Introduce DAST's Future Creators Program, AI, Robotics, IoT, STEM, and Innovation Lab solutions.
- Organize free awareness sessions, demonstrations, and workshops.
- Prepare and submit proposals.
- Follow up regularly until successful closure.
Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with school management.
- Coordinate with internal academic and implementation teams.
- Resolve customer queries and ensure excellent service.
- Collect testimonials and feedback from partner schools.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily visit reports.
- Update meeting outcomes and follow-up schedules.
- Track proposal status and conversions.
- Submit weekly activity and performance reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with experience in Educational Sales, School Marketing, EdTech, B2B Sales, or Business Development will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work independently and achieve monthly targets.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace is preferred.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred.
