Cashier
A Cashier in the hospitality industry is responsible for handling guest payments accurately and efficiently while delivering courteous service. The role supports smooth billing operations in restaurants, hotels, cafés, and other food & beverage outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Process guest bills, payments (cash, card, digital), and issue receipts
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier counter
- Handle cash drawers, opening/closing balances, and daily reconciliation
- Coordinate with service staff for accurate billing of orders
- Resolve billing discrepancies and handle guest queries professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
- Maintain records of transactions and prepare basic reports
- Support front-of-house operations during peak hours if needed
- Follow security procedures for cash handling
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
