The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and long-term management of a private residence, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, organization, and service. This role requires a highly organized, proactive, and discreet individual with exceptional leadership and problem-solving skills to manage all aspects of household administration, staff, and property maintenance.
- Oversee and manage all household staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and payroll coordination, ensuring a harmonious and productive work environment.
- Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, reconcile accounts, and provide regular financial reports to the principals.
- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of property maintenance, including scheduling repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance with external vendors and contractors.
- Manage household inventories for groceries, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessities, ensuring items are always stocked and organized.
- Plan and execute private events, parties, and gatherings, including vendor selection, catering arrangements, guest management, and logistical coordination.
- Implement and maintain robust household systems, including security protocols, smart home technology, and communication systems.
- Act as the primary liaison between the principals and all household staff, vendors, and service providers, managing schedules and communications effectively.
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic presentation throughout the residence at all times.
- Handle special requests and errands for the principals with efficiency, discretion, and a proactive approach.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all household affairs and personal information of the principals.
