About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Head to lead the company's finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in GST, TDS, MIS reporting, financial compliance, budgeting, taxation, and team management. Experience in managing end-to-end accounting operations and statutory compliance is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance & Accounts department.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, PT, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate and analyze MIS reports, dashboards, and business performance reports for management.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants, and banks.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor internal financial controls and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support management with financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
- Mandatory experience in MIS reporting and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime, ERP systems, and Advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a finance team and work under deadlines.
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com.
- 8–12+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
