Within the GCS, the Global Sales team is tasked with ensuring consistency in sales practices, sharing best practices, and enhancing win rates on a global scale. Collaborating closely with designated Global Sales Leaders from various geographies and business units, the team is committed to executing strategic priorities that are typically high-impact and high-visibility, aligning with the overarching strategic objectives of the firm.

Overview of the role
We are looking for a passionate, high energy, and self-motivated individual who can operate with increasing independence, bring structure to ambiguity and help turn intelligence into decisions that improve pursuit quality and win probability.
Work you’ll do
The professional will lead win/loss analysis efforts that transform qualitative and quantitative pursuit data into actionable insights, executive-ready reporting, and business recommendations that improve sales effectiveness, enhance decision-making, and increase win probability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead defined competitive intelligence workstreams that translate market, competitor, client and pursuit signals into actionable insights for campaign prospecting, deal strategy, proposal development and account planning.
- Distinguish between verified insights, stakeholder observations, and assumptions, applying sound judgment when evaluating the strength of evidence.
- Support the continued evolution of the win/loss program by synthesizing pursuit outcomes, client feedback, debrief findings and market observations into concise summaries, themes and implications for pursuit and sales teams.
- Identify recurring win and loss drivers, client decision factors, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends across pursuits.
- Develop concise, executive-ready reports, presentations, and summaries that communicate insights and implications to leadership and non-specialist audiences.
- Lead, maintain and enhance Win/Loss reporting assets, dashboards, and visualizations, ensuring reporting remains accurate, actionable, and relevant to stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate across the global Competitive Intelligence network, pursuit teams, account teams and enabling functions to consolidate insights, share best practices and support a consistent global view of competitors, market trends and client priorities.
- Use GenAI responsibly to accelerate research, pattern recognition and deliverable development, while maintaining quality, source transparency and human judgment.
- Coordinate day-to-day execution of assigned win/loss projects, including work planning, progress tracking, stakeholder updates, quality assurance and timely delivery of agreed-upon outputs.)
- Mentor junior team members on qualitative analysis, evidence-based insight generation, and the development of executive-ready win/loss deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen win/loss methodologies, reporting processes, dashboard reporting, and knowledge management to improve insight quality and business impact.
Requisite core skills
- Strong qualitative synthesis skills, with the ability to convert ambiguous and unstructured inputs into clear themes, findings, and business implications.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to identify patterns, trends, and root causes across multiple data sources.
- Experience with BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to maintain and update dashboards and reporting solutions independently.
- Proven ability to prepare polished, executive-ready deliverables in PowerPoint and Excel, including concise narratives, visuals, battle cards, profile pages and summary reports.
- Comfort applying GenAI tools to improve research productivity, content structuring and analysis, with strong attention to confidentiality, validation and source quality.
- Ability to coordinate across virtual, cross-border teams, manage multiple priorities and communicate progress, risks and trade-offs clearly

- Experience in competitive intelligence, market research, sales analysis, pursuit support, business development strategy, consulting or a related commercial role.
- Experience supporting win/loss reviews, competitor analysis, market scans, pursuit strategy, pricing or sales enablement preferred.
Qualifications, experience, work location, and timing
- Education: Degree in in Business Administration, Marketing, Strategy, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Work experience: 6+ years of experience, with 3-5 years of relevant experience in competitive intelligence, market research, sales analysis, pursuit support, business development strategy, consulting or a related commercial role.
- Strong track record with previous employment, preferably with consulting firms
- Location: Hyderabad
- Comfortable working with team members and stakeholders across geographies and time zones
- Work hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM OR 02:00 PM – 11:00 PM (expected to be flexible with shift timings)
- Working from office: The individual is expected to come to office at least 2 days a week as per the ‘work from office’ schedule
