We are looking for enthusiastic and curious AI Developer Interns who want to work on a real-world AI SaaS product and gain practical experience building intelligent features that are used by businesses.
About the Role
As an AI Developer Intern, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to build, test, improve, and deploy AI-powered capabilities within Fritado.
This is a hands-on role where you will have the opportunity to work with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, APIs, data processing, automation workflows, and AI-based decision systems.
You will not simply be working on training exercises or sample projects. You will contribute to actual product features and engineering initiatives within Fritado.
Key ResponsibilitiesAI & Generative AI
- Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI APIs.
- Develop and optimize prompts for different product use cases.
- Build AI-powered content generation and personalization features.
- Experiment with different AI models and evaluate their performance.
- Develop structured prompts and AI workflows for reliable outputs.
- Implement AI-based classification, extraction, summarization, and recommendation capabilities.
- Help improve the accuracy, relevance, and consistency of AI-generated responses.
AI Automation & Agents
- Assist in developing AI agents and autonomous workflows.
- Work on AI-driven lead research and prospect intelligence.
- Help build AI systems that analyze companies, contacts, industries, and buyer profiles.
- Contribute to automated decision-making and qualification workflows.
- Build integrations between AI services and Fritado's backend systems.
- Work on AI-powered sales and marketing automation.
Product Engineering
- Develop and integrate AI features into the Fritado platform.
- Work with REST APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Debug and troubleshoot AI and application-related issues.
- Test AI features against different inputs and edge cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other interns.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
Data & Intelligence
- Work with structured and unstructured data.
- Assist with data cleaning, transformation, extraction, and enrichment.
- Build logic for analyzing prospect and company information.
- Help improve AI-based lead qualification and scoring.
- Work with databases and APIs to support AI-powered product functionality.
Required SkillsMust Have
- Basic programming knowledge in Python or JavaScript/Node.js.
- Understanding of APIs and JSON.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Interest in Generative AI and Large Language Models.
- Understanding of prompt engineering concepts.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or other LLM APIs.
- Experience with Python AI/ML libraries.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar AI frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Knowledge of Node.js, Express, React, or Next.js.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
- Experience with vector databases or RAG.
- Understanding of embeddings and semantic search.
- Previous AI/ML or Generative AI projects.
