Biofics Private Limited, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Udhna, Surat, is a leading manufacturer and exporter of Organic Waste Composting (OWC) Machines, Biogas Plants, Bio-CNG Plants, and Bio Fertilizers. With a mission of achieving a Zero Waste Lifestyle, Biofics converts organic waste into renewable energy and compost. The company has installed 350+ biogas plants, composted 15,000+ tones of waste, and serves marquee clients including L&T, Adani, and the Indian Army.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for OWC Machines, Biogas Plants, and Bio-CNG Plants.
- Ensure production quality control in compliance with ISO and environmental safety standards.
- Provide technical support for machine assembly, installation, and commissioning at client sites across India.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), technical drawings, and manufacturing SOPs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new products including Bio-CBG and SATAT plant solutions.
- Plan and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize production downtime.
Qualifications & skills
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks (preferred).
- Basic understanding of biogas, anaerobic digestion, or waste management systems (preferred).
- Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi.
