Tax Advisor – Eurofast, India
Our Eurofastoffices is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Corporate Accounting Department for the position of Tax Advisor.
Job description:
· Analyse financial and operational data to identify tax risks, optimization opportunities, and strategic initiatives across all jurisdictions.
· Oversee and coordinate tax audits, liaising with authorities, external auditors, and consultants to ensure smooth and compliant processes.
· Guide and participate in tax provisioning, reporting, and preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Monitor changes in local and international tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, providing actionable guidance to leadership.
· Evaluate existing tax policies and procedures, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
· Preparation and review of complex corporate, indirect, and, where applicable, individual or trust tax returns across offices.
· Develop and implement tax processes, workflows, and efficiency initiatives across all company offices to create a scalable function.
· Serve as the primary tax advisor to senior management and the Board of Directors, performing any additional tax-related duties or projects as required.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
· ACCA/CA Qualification is preferred. (Newly qualified CA candidates are preferred)
· Fluency in English is a must.
· Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounting and tax.
· Experience with tax compliance, including filing tax returns and responding to tax audits.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel and MS Office and computer literate.
· Understanding of IFRS accounting standards and familiarity with software programs “Cycom” and “Caseware” will be considered an advantage.
