Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Proposal Engineer who will be responsible for preparing techno-commercial proposals, understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting the sales process with accurate technical documentation and quotations. The ideal candidate should possess strong engineering knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in proposal preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals and quotations based on customer specifications.
- Review customer enquiries, technical drawings, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and sales teams to prepare accurate proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Handle technical discussions with clients and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Maintain quotation records, customer data, and proposal status using CRM and MS Excel.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and support the sales team during negotiations.
- Conduct customer visits whenever required to understand project requirements.
- Represent the company during client meetings, exhibitions, and industrial events.
- Assist in preparing tender documents and technical compliance sheets.
- Suggest improvements for proposal quality and process efficiency.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred).
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Technical Proposal, Estimation, Industrial Sales Support, or Mechanical Engineering.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in Marathi , English, Hindi.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and CRM software.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, estimation, and documentation skills.
- Good coordination and customer handling abilities.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits when required.
