Job Summary
The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards, providing medication counseling to patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. The Pharmacist also manages medication inventory, maintains accurate records, and promotes the safe and effective use of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness.
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosage, side effects, interactions, storage, and precautions.
- Monitor patients for adverse drug reactions and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy.
- Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional ethics.
- Manage inventory by ordering, storing, and monitoring medications to prevent shortages or expirations.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable.
- Participate in health promotion activities, including medication therapy management, immunization services, and patient education.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license/registration issued by the appropriate regulatory authority.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is an advantage.
- Previous pharmacy experience is preferred but not always required.

- May work evenings, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts depending on operational needs.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
