Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, with at least 1–2 years in a management or lead developer capacity.
- Hosting/DevOps: Strong experience with Linux server administration (Ubuntu/CentOS), SSH, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean). Experience with WHM/cPanel or modern panels (Ploi, RunCloud) is a plus.
- WordPress: Deep understanding of the WordPress hook system, WP REST API, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and Gutenberg block development.
- PHP/Laravel: Proficient in PHP 8.x and MVC architecture using the Laravel framework.
- JavaScript (MERN): Advanced proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React.js (Hooks, Context API/Redux), Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.
- Frontend Fundamentals: Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and modern utility frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
- Databases: Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing both SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Full-Stack Web Manager to oversee, develop, and maintain our entire digital ecosystem. In this role, you will be the bridge between infrastructure and user experience. You will manage our cloud hosting environments, maintain and scale our existing WordPress and PHP Laravel applications, and architect new, modern web solutions using the MERN stack.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring deep expertise across multiple development paradigms and a strong understanding of web security, performance optimization, and deployment workflows.
Core Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Hosting Management
- Provision, configure, and maintain secure, scalable web hosting environments (AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode, or traditional VPS/Dedicated servers).
- Manage domain registration, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, and CDN integration (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Implement robust backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and 24/7 server monitoring.
- Optimize server performance (caching mechanisms, database tuning) to ensure high availability and fast load times.
2. WordPress Development & Maintenance
- Develop custom, responsive WordPress themes and high-performance plugins from scratch.
- Manage core, theme, and plugin updates while ensuring zero downtime or cross-compatibility issues.
- Implement advanced security hardening and malware prevention strategies.
- Optimize WordPress sites for Core Web Vitals (SEO, page speed, mobile responsiveness).
3. Custom Backend & Enterprise Development (PHP Laravel)
- Maintain, refactor, and scale existing PHP Laravel applications.
- Design and develop robust, secure RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services/APIs.
- Optimize complex database queries, schemas, and migrations (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Ensure implementation of Laravel security best practices (SQL injection prevention, XSS, CSRF tokens).
4. Modern Full-Stack Development (MERN)
- Architect and build modern, single-page applications (SPAs) and dashboards using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Develop reusable, highly interactive UI components in React.
- Build scalable backend services in Node.js/Express with efficient state management.
- Handle data modeling and optimization within NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills across different stacks.
- Project Ownership: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage project timelines effectively.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and document system architectures clearly.
