Job Summary
The Sanitary Inspector is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, environmental hygiene, and biomedical waste management across the hospital. The role ensures compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and statutory regulations to provide a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of hospital cleanliness and sanitation.
- Supervise housekeeping and sanitation activities.
- Monitor biomedical waste segregation and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, infection control, and safety standards.
- Coordinate pest control and environmental hygiene activities.
- Maintain sanitation records and inspection reports.
- Identify sanitation issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train housekeeping staff on hygiene and waste management practices.
Qualification
- Diploma/Certificate in Sanitary Inspector Course or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of hospital experience preferred.
