- Lead the development of new automotive products from concept to production.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PPC, production, and quality, to ensure product feasibility and manufacturability.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Manage multiple NPD projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal team to meet development milestones.
- Monitor and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to establish and optimize production processes for new products.
- Conduct process capability studies and recommend improvements to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Oversee development, testing, and validation to meet performance and safety standards.
- Analyze test data and resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Liaise with customers to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with Purchase and other concern department for material selection, tooling development, and cost optimization.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction in product design and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in new product development within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Auto cad software .
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with quality standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and APQP.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and project management abilities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
