Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain hospital IT infrastructure including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, CCTV, biometric systems, Wi-Fi, and networking.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Hospital Information System (HIS), EMR/EHR, PACS, LIS, HRMS, payroll, and other software applications.
- Monitor system performance, backups, antivirus, cybersecurity, and data protection measures.
- Coordinate with software vendors and service providers for AMC, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
- Maintain hospital data security and confidentiality as per NABH and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Handle IT helpdesk support and resolve technical issues within defined timelines.
- Plan and implement new IT projects, software integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Manage user access controls, email systems, and system permissions.
- Prepare IT policies, SOPs, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular data backup and recovery testing.
- Train staff on software usage, cybersecurity awareness, and IT best practices.
- Monitor IT inventory and maintain records of hardware/software assets.
- Coordinate with biomedical and other departments for integrated systems support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s Degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, cybersecurity, cloud computing, or networking will be an added advantage.
Experience Required
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT management.
- Experience in hospital or healthcare industry preferred.
- Knowledge of HIS/EMR systems and healthcare IT operations preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cybersecurity, and system administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of database management and cloud technologies.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
