Job Description: Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehouse goods. This role ensures that all logistics activities support the production requirements and customer delivery schedules while maintaining strict inventory accuracy and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and annual physical verification.
- Manage Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) specifically for the nonwoven/textile sector.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Optimize space utilization and warehouse layout to ensure smooth material flow.
- Supervise loading and unloading activities, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Oversee the "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) or "First-Expired, First-Out" (FEFO) systems.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Manage all warehouse-related documentation, including Delivery Challans, Invoices, GRN (Goods Received Note), and Stock Registers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal quality standards (e.g., ISO or IATF 16949 standards common in automotive supply chains).
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and train a team of loaders, operators, and clerical staff.
- Coordinate effectively with the Production and Purchase departments to prevent stock-outs.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (B.Com/B.Sc/B.A) or Diploma/Degree in Materials Management/Logistics.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse or godown management, preferably within a manufacturing environment (Textiles, Automotive, or Chemicals).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP software (SAP)
- Strong command over Microsoft Excel for reporting.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-pressure industrial environment.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹87,500.00 per month
