Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to manage the lead conversion process for our Food Consulting business. The candidate will be provided with qualified leads by the company and will be responsible for converting those leads into successful business opportunities.
The primary objective of this role is to understand client requirements, present the company's Food Consulting and Manufacturing services, build strong client relationships, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close deals.
Please Note: This is not a lead generation role. The candidate will exclusively focus on converting company-provided leads into confirmed clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert company-provided qualified leads into successful business opportunities.
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Food Consulting and Manufacturing solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and regular follow-ups to drive conversions.
- Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and commercial offers with clients.
- Manage the complete sales process, from the first client interaction to successful deal
- Negotiate commercial terms and achieve monthly sales and conversion targets.
- Maintain accurate client records, follow-up details, and sales activities in the CRM.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding process after deal closure.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales / Inside Sales / Business Development / Project Sales / Consulting Sales/ Client Servicing
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to confidently interact with clients and business owners.
- Basic understanding of Food Technology, Food Manufacturing, Food Safety, or Food Consulting services.
- Experience in the Food Consulting, Food Manufacturing, Food Processing, FMCG, Nutraceutical, or Biotechnology industry will be preferred.
