We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Solar Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site surveys, system design, project planning, installation supervision, commissioning, and technical support for rooftop solar projects. The candidate should have sound knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical engineering principles, and relevant safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for residential and commercial solar projects.
- Design grid-connected, hybrid, and off-grid solar PV systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and project documentation.
- Estimate project requirements, including panels, inverters, structures, cables, and other electrical components.
- Supervise installation teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and government agencies during project execution.
- Assist with KSEB net-metering documentation and approvals.
- Troubleshoot system faults and provide technical support after installation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company quality procedures.
- Prepare project reports and maintain installation records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in rooftop solar PV projects (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of solar system design, electrical calculations, and load analysis.
- Familiarity with grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid solar systems.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.
- Knowledge of KSEB regulations and net-metering procedures is an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to travel for site visits and project execution.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
