Job Summary
To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion
Key Responsibilities
1. To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.
2. To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
3. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
4. To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
Skill Requirements
Java – Proficient
Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 or later) with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of collections, multithreading, concurrency, exception handling, JVM memory management, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, dependency management tools (Maven/Gradle), and unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Familiarity with code quality tools, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Microservices – Proficient
Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service decomposition, API design, and domain-driven design (DDD) concepts.
Experience implementing inter-service communication using REST APIs and asynchronous messaging.
Knowledge of service discovery, API gateways, circuit breakers, distributed tracing, centralized logging, and fault tolerance patterns.
Experience working with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is preferred.
Spring Boot – Proficient
Extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework modules including Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Validation, and Spring Actuator.
Experience building RESTful services, integrating with databases, and implementing security using OAuth2/JWT.
Familiarity with configuration management, dependency injection, application monitoring, and performance optimization.
Experience integrating Spring Boot applications with cloud platforms and DevOps tools is an advantage.
Apache Kafka – Competent
Experience developing event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
Understanding of Kafka architecture, including topics, partitions, brokers, producers, consumers, and consumer groups.
Experience implementing asynchronous messaging, event streaming, and message-driven microservices.
