Job Summary
The Assistant Pastry Chef supports the Pastry Chef in preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting high-quality cakes, brownies, pastries, desserts, and other baked products. The role requires maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of cakes, brownies, pastries, cookies, desserts, and other bakery products.
- Support the Pastry Chef in daily production activities.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production standards.
- Assist in cake frosting, decoration, and finishing.
- Ensure products are prepared and displayed according to company quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing raw materials.
- Minimize wastage and ensure proper utilization of ingredients.
- Support the team during bulk orders, festive seasons, and special events.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or Kitchen Manager.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 per month
