We are looking to hire a Product Manager – Causal Inference to lead our roadmap in one of the most strategic areas of Lifesight’s platform: causal measurement for marketing. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product thinking with deep expertise in causal inference and experimentation.
You will own the vision, roadmap, and execution for our causal inference product initiatives, including A/B testing, geo testing, quasi-causal methods, and related experimentation workflows. You should come from a strong data science or quantitative background and be comfortable working at the intersection of product, engineering, statistics, and customer needs.
In addition to building commercial product capabilities, you will also help shape and drive our open-source initiatives in causal inference, helping Lifesight contribute meaningfully to the broader measurement ecosystem.
- Own the Causal Inference Roadmap: Define and manage the roadmap for Lifesight’s causal inference and experimentation capabilities, including A/B testing, geo testing, quasi-causal testing, and calibration workflows.
- Translate Science into Product: Convert complex statistical and causal inference concepts into intuitive product experiences, workflows, and decision-support tools for marketers and analysts.
- Drive Product Discovery: Work closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and domain experts to identify the most important problems in marketing experimentation and causal measurement.
- Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with data scientists, engineers, designers, and go-to-market teams to take products from concept to launch. Manage priorities, product specifications, and execution milestones.
- Shape Methodology and Product Design: Help define the role of experimental and quasi-experimental methods within Lifesight’s unified measurement platform, ensuring rigor, usability, and business relevance.
- Manage Open-Source Initiatives: Lead and coordinate Lifesight’s open-source efforts in this space, including identifying focus areas, prioritizing contributions, engaging with the external community, and aligning open-source work with product strategy.
- Define Success Metrics: Establish KPIs for adoption, usability, methodological quality, and business impact. Continuously evaluate product performance and iterate based on data and customer feedback.
- Act as a Domain Champion: Serve as the internal product expert on causal inference for marketing measurement, helping align product direction with scientific best practices and market needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, data science, marketing analytics, experimentation, or a related role, with meaningful exposure to causal inference methods.
- Strong understanding of causal inference in marketing, including A/B testing, geo testing, incrementality measurement, and quasi-experimental / quasi-causal techniques.
- A solid grounding in experimental design, hypothesis testing, statistical inference, and practical challenges in real-world measurement systems.
- Experience working with data scientists and engineers to build data-intensive or model-driven products.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data directly; proficiency with SQL and familiarity with Python/R or other analytical tooling is highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to take a product area from concept to execution with strong ownership and prioritization skills.
- Experience in MarTech, AdTech, marketing measurement, MMM, attribution, or incrementality testing.
- Hands-on experience with experimentation platforms, uplift modeling, synthetic controls, causal ML, or other advanced causal methods.
- Familiarity with open-source ecosystems in statistics, causal inference, or experimentation.
- Experience building products for technical users such as analysts, data scientists, or measurement teams.
- Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, MCPs and production analytics systems.
