The Pharmacist cum Supply Chain Executive will be responsible for managing pharmacy operations along with procurement, inventory, and supply chain activities. The role ensures availability of medicines, compliance with regulations, and efficient stock and vendor management to support uninterrupted patient care. Key Responsibilities:
1. Pharmacy Operations Dispense medications as per prescriptions accurately Verify prescriptions and ensure correct dosage and instructions Maintain proper storage of medicines as per guidelines Counsel patients on medication usage when required Monitor expiry dates and ensure removal of expired/near-expiry stock
2. Inventory Management Maintain optimal stock levels of medicines and consumables Track inventory and ensure real-time stock updates Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation Implement inventory control systems (FIFO/FEFO)
3. Procurement & Supply Chain Manage procurement of medicines, surgical items, and consumables Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery Negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective purchasing Maintain vendor database and performance tracking
4. Billing & Documentation Ensure accurate billing of pharmacy items Maintain records of purchase, stock, and dispensing Handle documentation for audits and compliance
5. Compliance & Quality Control Ensure compliance with drug regulations and hospital policies Maintain proper licenses and pharmacy standards Follow safety, hygiene, and storage protocols
6. Coordination & Operations Support Work closely with doctors, nurses, and operations team Ensure timely availability of medicines for IPD/OPD patients Support emergency requirements without delay
Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm) Valid Pharmacy Registration License
Experience: 2–5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy or medical supply chain Experience in inventory and procurement preferred
Key Skills: Knowledge of medicines and drug handling Inventory and supply chain management ,Vendor management and negotiation and Attention to detail and accuracy , Basic computer knowledge (billing/software systems)
Reporting Structure: Reports to: Operations Manager / Business Head
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
