About the Role
Dr Aravinds IVF Fertility Center is looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Couple Counsellor to guide and support couples throughout their fertility treatment journey. The ideal candidate should possess excellent counselling, communication, and patient relationship management skills while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel couples regarding fertility treatments, procedures, and treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Coordinate with fertility specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Educate patients about IVF procedures, medications, investigations, and treatment timelines.
- Follow up with prospective and existing patients regarding appointments and treatment progress.
- Maintain accurate counselling records and patient documentation.
- Build trust and maintain long-term relationships with patients.
- Handle patient queries, concerns, and complaints efficiently.
- Assist in improving patient satisfaction and treatment conversion.
- Ensure confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Strong counselling and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English and regional languages.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Strong patient relationship management skills.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Healthcare Management, or any relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IVF, fertility, healthcare, or hospital counselling is preferred.
