Job Description: Sales Manager

Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our revenue growth strategies and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing corporate accounts, and driving group bookings to maximize hotel occupancy and revenue. This role requires a proactive professional who can balance strategic planning with hands-on sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through room sales, banquet bookings, and corporate events.
- Business Development: Proactively scout and develop new business leads within the corporate, travel trade, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segments.
- Account Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts to ensure repeat business and high client satisfaction.
- Site Inspections: Conduct professional tours of the hotel facilities for prospective clients, showcasing our rooms, dining options, and event spaces.
- Market Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and local market demand to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Contract Negotiation: Draft and negotiate corporate rate agreements and group contracts while ensuring profitability.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless execution of guest requirements and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years of sales experience in the hospitality or service industry.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for professional presentations and negotiations.
- Networking: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Hotel Management Software (PMS), CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Ability: Strong understanding of revenue management principles and sales forecasting.
- Flexibility: Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends based on event schedules and client needs.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
