We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of US-based enterprise clients. This role focuses on post-sale client engagement, renewal management, and expansion opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Oversee a portfolio of approximately 400 U.S. accounts, with a mix of long-term contract clients and those requiring active renewal management.
- Retention & Growth: Drive renewals and identify opportunities for account expansion and cross-selling, using consultative sales approaches to align with client business goals.
- Customer Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor by conducting regular business reviews, presenting performance insights, and advocating for client needs.
- Internal Collaboration: Coordinate across departments (Customer Support, Sales Operations, Finance, etc.) to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Sales Forecasting: Monitor usage trends and account health to forecast renewals and upsell opportunities accurately.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date client records and activity tracking within CRM systems (Salesforce, Sales Navigator).
- Industry Insight: Stay current with industry trends and regulations, translating them into actionable insights and service enhancements for clients.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B client-facing role with a strong background in account management or enterprise sales.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in SaaS, regulatory compliance solutions, or subscription-based services is preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding growth and retention targets.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and value-based negotiation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM platforms, and account management tools.
- Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally (up to 50%).
