Business Development Associate Intern
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Associate Intern to support our expansion strategy by onboarding new partners. This role involves identifying high-potential opportunities, building strong relationships, and ensuring seamless partner onboarding.
The intern will gain hands-on exposure to the complete partner lifecycle—from lead generation to onboarding and post-launch support—while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure partner success and alignment with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and connect with potential partners to expand the network
· Generate qualified leads through multiple channels
· Present business opportunities and explain the business model effectively
· Achieve assigned partner acquisition targets
· Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new partners
· Coordinate documentation, agreements, and compliance requirements
· Ensure smooth setup and activation of new franchisees
· Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for onboarded partners
· Build and maintain long-term partner relationships
· Collaborate with internal teams (operations, training, support)
· Provide initial guidance and support to new franchisees
· Assist in resolving partner queries and operational challenges
· Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards
· Maintain accurate records of leads and conversions
· Prepare regular reports on business development activities
· Monitor performance of newly onboarded partners
Required Skills
· Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
· Ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
· Basic understanding of sales and business development concepts
· Good organizational and coordination abilities
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
· Ability to multitask and work in a target-driven environment
· Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree
· Prior exposure to sales, business development, or partner management (preferred)
· Understanding of network expansion models (added advantage)
· Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
Internship Structure
· Internship Duration: 6 Months
· Stipend: ₹12,000 per month
· High-performing interns will be offered a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)
· Outstanding candidates may be absorbed into the company payroll after 6 months, subject to their performance during the probation period.
