Roles and Responsibilities: -
· Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished parts against engineering drawings and specifications.
· Perform dimensional checks using Vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision instruments.
· Verify part dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and geometrical requirements as per drawing callouts.
· Identify and segregate non-conforming / rejected parts and report to the production team.
· Maintain inspection records, rejection reports, and daily quality logs.
· Coordinate with the production team for rework or correction of defective parts.
· Ensure all measuring instruments are calibrated and in proper working condition.
· Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) for repeated quality issues.
· Follow and implement quality standards, SOPs, and inspection procedures.
Qualifications and Skills: -
· ITI (Machinist / Fitter / Turner) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
· Minimum 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment.
· Hands-on experience with measuring instruments is mandatory.
· Knowledge of engineering drawings is essential.
Pay: ₹20,539.11 - ₹30,789.34 per month
