Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Audit Executive to join our audit team. The ideal candidate will support senior auditors in conducting audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or post graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in auditing and professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audit engagements under the supervision of senior auditors.
- Perform substantive testing, analytical procedures, and compliance testing.
- Prepare audit documentation and working papers in accordance with auditing standards.
- Review client financial records, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Identify issues and report audit findings clearly and concisely.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in audit, finance, or accounting roles (internship experience acceptable).
- Basic understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for audit assignments, if required.
