Key Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase production efficiency and reduce operating costs. [1, 2]
- Production Management: Monitor daily assembly lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules, manpower allocation, and target outputs. [1]
- Quality Assurance: Lead root-cause analysis for production defects, implement corrective actions, and track metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and rejection rates. [1, 2]
- Tool & Layout Design: Assist with shop floor layout, design tooling/fixtures for assembly, and ensure designs meet Design for Manufacturing (DFM) standards. [1, 2]
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure parts availability and smooth integration of new vehicle models. [1]
