Aristocrat is seeking a Research Counsellor to communicate with PhD scholars, researchers, authors, faculty members, clinicians, research teams, industry professionals and institutional clients. The candidate will understand their research requirements and guide them towards the appropriate research advisory or support process.
This role requires clear communication, structured listening, accurate documentation, consistent follow-up and professional coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand each client’s academic or professional background, research domain, problem statement, current research stage, objectives, urgency and documentation status.
- Handle enquiries related to research guidance, thesis and dissertation support, publication support, research methodology, intellectual property, innovation and research consulting services.
- Explain the approved service scope, process, documentation requirements, expected timelines and next steps clearly.
- Prepare complete and accurate enquiry notes for research consultants, coordinators and operations teams.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and update client and enquiry status accurately in spreadsheets, trackers or CRM systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams for consultation scheduling, requirement assessment and client onboarding.
- Escalate technically complex, sensitive, high-value or unclear requirements to senior consultants or managers.
- Avoid unsupported commitments or guarantees regarding publication, patents, funding, approvals or research outcomes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling research ideas, manuscripts, datasets, client information, documents and internal discussions.
Required Skills
- Clear and professional communication in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong active-listening, questioning and client-handling skills.
- Ability to understand research requirements across different academic and professional domains without making unsupported claims.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate and structured notes from client discussions.
- Strong follow-up, coordination and record-maintenance skills.
- Basic proficiency in spreadsheets, email, WhatsApp and CRM or enquiry-tracking systems.
- Ability to explain service processes, requirements and next steps clearly and ethically.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling client information and research materials.
Eligibility
- Any completed degree with no standing arrears.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
- Previous exposure to academic counselling, research support, publication support, EdTech, client coordination or academic services will be an advantage.
Work Schedule
- Work from office.
- Five working days per week.
- Shift 1: 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Shift 2: 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Salary
- ₹12,000 to ₹40,000 per month, based on role suitability, capability, assessment and performance.
- Performance-based incentives may apply according to company policy.
Selection Process
- 15-day pre-contract training and assessment.
- Selected candidates may be offered an initial contract based on their performance and suitability for the role.
