Role: Senior Accounts Executive

Role Overview:
We are currently supporting one of our clients, a financial consulting firm, in hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support their accounting and finance operations for international clients. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work closely with senior finance professionals while managing client deliverables with discipline and ownership. Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Finance Operations
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries in accounting software / ERP systems.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and customer account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Process invoices, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Maintain ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Handle GST and TDS compliance, including reconciliations, deductions, and return filings.
- Assist in accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assist in product costing, cost analysis, and monitoring of cost variances to support financial decision-making.
- Support preparation of MIS reports, schedules, and financial summaries for review by senior team members.
- Maintain accounting documentation and supporting schedules.
Client Support & Coordination
- Work closely with international clients as per instructions from senior team members.
- Follow client SOPs, timelines, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate for missing documents, accounting records, and reconciliations.
Compliance & Process Support
- Assist in preparation of working papers for audit, tax, and statutory compliance.
- Follow internal controls, SOPs, and reporting protocols.
Operational Responsibilities
- Work across multiple client assignments.
- Coordinate with seniors for review and closure of tasks.
Requirements:
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA (Finance)
- Proven experience in accounting, finance operations, audit support, or outsourced finance functions
- Experience working in financial advisory firms / accounting outsourcing / financeshared services will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of:
o Journal entries
o Trial balance
o General ledger
o Accounts payable / receivable
o Bank reconciliation
o GST / TDS / taxation concepts
- Exposure to accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, reconciliations).
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
