Job Description: QA Engineer (Manual & Automation – Java/Selenium)
Location: Hyderabad / Delhi (Hybrid work mode 2 Days Work from Office)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in Manual Testing, Java-based Automation, and hands-on exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality across all stages of the SDLC through robust test design, execution, automation development, and defect management.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.

Work with automation frameworks (Hybrid, Data-driven, POM, or custom frameworks).

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Perform automation execution, analyze results, and provide timely reports.

Design comprehensive and detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Execute test cases across various testing stages (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity).

Identify, track, and validate defects using standard defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).

Collaborate with developers and product owners to ensure requirements clarity and test coverage.
CI/CD & Agile Practices

Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

Understand and utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.

Ensure test automation is seamlessly integrated as part of continuous integration and continuous deployment cycles.

Contribute to quality metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG/JUnit, and automation frameworks and good with fundamentals of Manual Testing (test design, execution, and defect lifecycle).

Good understanding of OOPs concepts, debugging, and scripting best practices.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with version control systems like Git.

Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with API testing using Postman / RestAssured.

Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Understanding of cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).

Experience working in a microservices-based architecture.
