QC Engineer – Fabrication (Pressure Vessels & Heat Exchangers)
Company Overview :
We are a manufacturing company specializing in the fabrication of Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Silos, and Storage Tanks as per ASME Code requirements in Stainless Steel and Exotic Metals.
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Stainless Steel & Exotic Metal Fabrication
Standards: ASME Code Knowledge Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inward material inspection and prepare GRN documentation.
- Perform stage-wise inspection during fabrication of Pressure Vessels and Heat Exchangers.
- Ensure compliance with ASME Codes, approved QAP, drawings, and customer specifications.
- Monitor welding activities and verify WPS/PQR/WPQ requirements.
- Coordinate NDT activities including RT, UT, PT, and DP inspections.
- Carry out dimensional inspection and final inspection before dispatch.
- Prepare inspection reports, QA/QC documentation, and test records.
- Coordinate with Third Party Inspection Agencies and Clients during inspections.
- Identify quality issues and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper material traceability and documentation control.
- Support hydro testing, pneumatic testing, and final release activities.
- Work closely with production and machining departments to maintain quality standards.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of ASME Codes and fabrication quality requirements.
- Experience in Stainless Steel fabrication and pressure equipment manufacturing.
- Knowledge of welding procedures and welding inspection.
- Familiarity with NDT methods and quality documentation.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and inspection plans.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under strict project deadlines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
