Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation & Space Planning: Conduct client discovery meetings to evaluate lifestyle requirements, aesthetic preferences, and budget constraints. Develop spatial layouts, 2D floor plans, and functional zoning.
- 3D Visualizations & Presentation: Produce photorealistic 3D views, render elevations, and assemble material mood boards using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or AutoCAD.
- Technical Detailing & Working Drawings: Prepare accurate electrical, plumbing, ceiling, and joinery/millwork drawings for contractor execution.
- Material Sourcing & FF&E: Select and specify finishes, hardware, laminates, lighting, modular cabinetry, and furnishings. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure quality materials within budget.
- Site Coordination & Quality Control: Perform routine site visits across project locations in Delhi-NCR. Supervise carpenters, electricians, painters, and modular fitters to ensure work strictly matches the design intent and schedule.
- Cost Estimation & BOQ: Draft Bills of Quantities (BOQ), track material procurement, and manage project deliverables against agreed client budgets and timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related creative field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in residential interior design, modular kitchen planning, and turnkey execution.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (with V-Ray/Corona), and MS Office. Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
- Vendor & Material Knowledge: Deep understanding of local Indian market materials (plywood grades, veneers, quartz, hardware like Hettich/Hafele, and false-ceiling systems).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills, with fluent Hindi and professional English communication.
- Portfolio: A portfolio of executed residential projects (showing 3D renders alongside actual site photos) is mandatory.
