Position: Backend Engineer (Node.js - Express, Fastify)
Location: Pune
Experience: 1–3 Years
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
● Translate business requirements into reliable software solutions.
● Participate in product ideation, technical planning, and architecture discussions.
● Build and maintain microservices and event-driven applications.
● Design and optimize database schemas and data workflows.
● Collaborate with DevOps teams on deployments, monitoring, and production releases.
● Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
● Continuously improve system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
● Take ownership of features from design to deployment.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years backend development experience
- Strong in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Express.js
- Experience with PostgreSQL & MongoDB
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture
- AWS (S3, SQS, SES) experience
- Familiar with Git and modern dev workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred: Redis, Docker, CI/CD, SaaS, WhatsApp Business APIs, system design, startup experience
