We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through thorough testing and analysis. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and develop detailed test plans and test cases.
- Design, document, and execute manual test cases to ensure software meets
- requirements and quality standards.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, report, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure software functionality.
- Document test results and create detailed test reports.
- Provide clear and concise feedback to developers and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive test documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on improving testing methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Experience with different types of testing (functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance).
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
