About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and target-driven Inside Sales Executive – Solar EPC to join our sales team. The candidate will be responsible for handling inbound and assigned leads, pitching rooftop solar solutions, explaining the benefits of solar installation, and converting leads into confirmed customers.
This is primarily an inside sales role, meaning the candidate will work through calls, WhatsApp, email, video meetings, and follow-ups. The role does not require regular face-to-face field sales, but the candidate must be confident in speaking to residential customers, businesses, corporates, factories, institutions, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Call and follow up with leads provided by the company.
- Generate additional leads through online research, directories, referrals, LinkedIn, Google search, and business databases.
- Pitch rooftop solar EPC solutions to residential, commercial, corporate, and industrial customers.
- Explain solar benefits including electricity bill savings, subsidy, ROI, net metering, installation process, and long-term value.
- Understand customer requirements such as monthly electricity bill, sanctioned load, rooftop space, and expected solar capacity.
- Qualify leads and identify serious prospects for solar installation.
- Prepare basic proposals, quotations, and commercial offers in coordination with the technical/team lead.
- Follow up regularly with prospects through calls, WhatsApp, email, and CRM updates.
- Convert leads into site visits, confirmed proposals, and closed sales.
- Handle B2B pitching for corporates, industries, factories, warehouses, institutions, hotels, hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings.
- Maintain proper records of leads, follow-ups, customer responses, and deal status.
- Coordinate with the operations/technical team for site visits, feasibility checks, and customer onboarding.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and lead conversion goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior experience in inside sales, tele sales, solar sales, B2B sales, or customer conversion is preferred.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Assamese.
- Ability to explain technical products in a simple and convincing way.
- Comfortable with phone calls, WhatsApp follow-ups, emails, and CRM/Excel tracking.
- Must be confident in handling both residential and business customers.
- Basic understanding of solar, electricity bills, rooftop space, or renewable energy will be an added advantage.
- Strong follow-up discipline and ability to close sales.
- Target-oriented, persuasive, and professional in communication.

Compensation
Salary will be based on experience and interview performance. Attractive incentives may be offered for successful lead conversion and sales closure.
Work Nature
This is an office-based inside sales role. The candidate will mainly work through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and online communication. Field visits are not a primary requirement, but coordination with the site visit and technical team will be required.
Pay: ₹12,210.38 - ₹15,000.00 per month
