We are looking for a skilled Embedded Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware for microcontroller-based products. The ideal candidate should have experience with embedded C/C++, hardware interfacing, debugging, and real-time embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using C/C++.
- Develop software for microcontrollers such as STM32, NXP, TI, Microchip, or similar platforms.
- Interface with peripherals including UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and GPIO.
- Debug firmware and hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/SWD debuggers.
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system validation.
- Optimize firmware for memory usage, performance, and power consumption.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and software teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports.
- Support manufacturing, production, and field issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
- Strong programming skills in Embedded C and C++.
- Experience with ARM Cortex-M or other microcontroller architectures.
- Good understanding of RTOS concepts (FreeRTOS preferred).
- Experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, or Ethernet.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Experience using debugging tools such as JTAG, ST-Link, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Embedded Linux.
- Knowledge of device drivers and bootloaders.
- Experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, LoRa, or other wireless technologies.
- Familiarity with secure boot and firmware-over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for embedded software.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
