Job Summary:
Royal Pet World is looking for a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in grooming dogs and pets, ensuring their hygiene, comfort, and overall well-being. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality grooming services while providing excellent care and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and styling
- Handle pets safely and gently to reduce stress and ensure comfort
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools and workspace
- Identify skin conditions, parasites, or health concerns and report to management or vet
- Communicate with pet owners to understand grooming requirements
- Ensure timely service and maintain grooming schedules
- Assist in maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for pets and customers
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pet Groomer (preferred)
- Knowledge of different breeds and grooming styles
- Ability to handle pets of various sizes and temperaments
- Patience, compassion, and love for animals
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of pet health and hygiene
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in pet grooming (a plus)
- Experience in handling aggressive or anxious pets
- Experience with modern grooming tools and techniques
