About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in over-the-counter sales at retail stores, with a preference for those with a background in jewelry sales. This role involves assisting customers, providing excellent service, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products.
- Sales and Upselling: Drive sales by showcasing product knowledge and suggesting additional items.
- Product Handling: Ensure proper display and care of jewelry items, maintaining store aesthetics.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat visits.
- Inventory Checks: Assist in inventory management, including stock counting and replenishment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Over-the-counter sales experience in retail stores; jewelry store experience is a significant advantage.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-first approach.
- Product Knowledge: Familiarity with jewelry or willingness to learn about different products and materials.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle high-value items with care and precision.
- Availability: Flexible to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
