Job Title:
Diploma Electrical Engineer – STP & ETP Operations
Qualification:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience:
1–2 years of hands-on experience in STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) and/or ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) operations
Job Location:
As per project/site requirement
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical systems of STP & ETP plants as per standard operating procedures
- Ensure smooth functioning of motors, pumps, blowers, control panels, MCC panels, starters, and electrical connections
- Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
- Monitor electrical parameters and ensure uninterrupted plant operations
- Maintain daily logbooks, maintenance records, and breakdown reports
- Coordinate with site engineers, vendors, and maintenance teams for repair and servicing activities
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, environmental norms, and statutory requirements
- Assist in installation, commissioning, testing, and shutdown activities as required
Skill Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of STP/ETP process flow and electrical equipment
- Understanding of motors, pumps, control panels, starters, VFDs, and basic instrumentation
- Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults and operational issues
- Willingness to work at site and in shifts if required
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Candidates with prior experience in industrial, residential, or commercial STP/ETP projects
- Knowledge of PLC, instrumentation, and automation systems will be an added advantage
Salary:
As per industry standards and experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
