Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Electrician with experience in factory maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring compliance with safety standards to minimize production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of factory electrical systems and machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in production equipment, motors, panels, and control circuits.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switchgear, distribution boards, and lighting systems.
- Perform maintenance of electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment (basic troubleshooting), and transformers.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply by maintaining DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical utilities.
- Monitor electrical equipment for safe and efficient operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain maintenance records and reports.
- Replace defective electrical components such as contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, sensors, and cables.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping in the electrical maintenance area.
Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical License (preferred, if applicable).
Experience
- 3–6 years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with:
- AC/DC motors
- MCC & PCC Panels
- VFDs and Soft Starters
- PLC (basic troubleshooting)
- DG Sets
- Air Compressors
- Lighting systems
- Transformers
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.

Pay: ₹9,377.93 - ₹28,217.16 per month
