Information Technology (IT) Officer
Job Summary
The IT Officer is responsible for managing and supporting the overall IT infrastructure of the retail textile group, including billing systems, ERP/POS software, networking, hardware, data security, and branch connectivity. The role ensures smooth day-to-day IT operations across all showrooms, offices, warehouses, and support departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor all IT systems, servers, networks, computers, printers, and POS systems across branches.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for billing, ERP, inventory, and office software issues.
- Ensure uninterrupted connectivity between branches, warehouse, and head office.
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software systems.
- Monitor data backup, cybersecurity, antivirus protection, and system security controls.
- Support CCTV, biometric attendance, email systems, and communication platforms.
- Coordinate with software vendors, internet providers, and IT service partners.
- Maintain IT asset records, licenses, warranties, and system documentation.
- Assist management in implementing new technologies and digital solutions for retail operations.
- Ensure minimum system downtime and quick resolution of technical problems.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications in networking, hardware, cybersecurity, or ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of IT support experience, preferably in retail, textile, or multi-branch business operations.
- Experience in POS systems, ERP software, networking, and user support is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
