Job Title: Deltek Vision to Vantagepoint Projects Migration Lead
Location: Remote Position
Duration: Permanent / Full Time Position
Role Summary:
Lead the analysis, mapping, validation, and migration of Projects data from Deltek Vision to Vantagepoint, with special focus on project structure, nomenclature, and custom fields that affect billing, finance, and reporting. Prior Experience in Deltek Vision / Vantage is a must.
Key Responsibilities
Review project master data, hierarchy, naming structure, phases, tasks, and custom fields.
Define migration rules and validation checks for Projects data.
Identify data-quality issues such as duplicates, inactive values, and inconsistent usage.
Work with PEER SMEs to confirm business meaning and required target-state behavior.
Support migration runs, issue resolution, QA, UAT, and cutover readiness.
Assess downstream impact on billing, finance, reporting, and related setup.
Required Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Deltek Vision and/or Deltek Vantagepoint, especially Projects.
Experience with project setup, project master data, hierarchy, and custom fields.
Migration, implementation, or system-conversion experience in ERP environments.
Good understanding of data migration, SQL and data-validation skills.
Ability to work across business and technical teams.
Ideal Profile
Senior functional-technical consultant, not just a generic data migration developer.
Practical understanding of how Projects data drives billing, finance, and reporting.
Able to translate business usage into accurate migration and validation rules.
Recommended fit: A senior Deltek functional-technical consultant with strong Projects module and custom-field migration experience.
