HIRING – SENIOR MEP ENGINEER / MEP CONSULTANT (EXECUTION & SUPERVISION)

Project Size: Approx. 3,00,000 Sq. Ft.
We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Engineer / MEP Project Consultant with 10–15+ years of proven experience in execution, coordination, supervision, quality control, and commissioning of large commercial / office developments.
The candidate should be capable of end-to-end MEP execution management, contractor coordination, site supervision, technical problem solving, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
Role & Responsibilities
The consultant / engineer shall independently supervise, coordinate, monitor and execute all MEP activities including:
1. Fire Fighting & Fire Protection Systems
* Hydrant systems
* Sprinkler systems
* Fire pumps, jockey pumps & pump rooms
* Wet risers / downcomers
* Fire alarm & detection systems
* Smoke extraction systems
* Fire-rated shafts & sealing
* Basement fire safety systems
* Coordination with fire NOC requirements
2. Plumbing, Water Supply & Sanitation
* Domestic water systems
* Flushing & potable water distribution
* STP/ETP coordination
* Drainage & sewage systems
* Storm water and rainwater disposal systems
* Terrace drainage systems
* Water pressure balancing & hydraulic planning
3. Basement Water Management
* Sump wells & sump pumps
* Pressure relief water disposal systems
* Groundwater seepage control
* Dewatering systems
* U-drains / trench drains & basement flooding prevention
* Waterproofing coordination
4. HVAC / Mechanical Systems
* Central air-conditioning systems
* VRV/VRF / chilled water systems
* Ventilation systems
* Basement fresh air & exhaust systems
* Smoke management systems
* AHU, FCU & ducting coordination
* Energy-efficient HVAC planning
5. Electrical (HT/LT) Systems
* HT/LT electrical systems
* Transformers, substations & RMU coordination
* DG backup systems
* Panels, switchgear & bus duct systems
* Earthing & lightning protection
* Internal and external electrification
* Energy monitoring & power management
6. ELV / Smart Building Systems
* CCTV surveillance systems

7. Gas & Utility Systems
* Gas pipeline coordination (if applicable)
* Utility shafts and service coordination
* Metering and safety systems
8. External Infrastructure Coordination
* External utility planning
* Rainwater harvesting systems
* Underground tanks and pump rooms
* External firefighting network
* Road crossing utility coordination
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and control all MEP contractors and vendors.
* Ensure proper workmanship, material quality, testing & commissioning.
* Prepare and verify shop drawings, coordinated MEP drawings, BOQs, and execution details.
* Resolve site clashes between civil, structural, architectural, façade, interiors and MEP works.
* Ensure compliance with NBC, fire norms, electrical safety standards, PMC norms and statutory approvals.
* Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, fire consultants, liaison teams, and authorities.
* Maintain strict timelines, budgets, quality standards, and documentation.
* Conduct regular site reviews, contractor meetings, and progress monitoring.
* Ensure low-maintenance, long-life, and efficient system execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
* 10–15+ years experience in commercial, IT parks, Grade-A office buildings, malls, hospitals, hotels or high-rise developments.
* Strong practical execution and contractor management experience.
* Experience handling basement MEP services, fire systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and integrated services coordination.
* Ability to independently supervise and deliver project execution.
* Preference for candidates based in Pune / Maharashtra.
