About the RoleWe are looking for an accurate and customer-focused Cashier to join our retail spare parts and automobile sales division in Kovilpatti. You will be the crucial link between our sales team and accounting department, handling daily financial transactions, billing, and ensuring 100% accuracy in cash and digital settlements.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Invoicing: Generate accurate GST bills, invoices, and cash receipts for walk-in customers and workshop clients purchasing Maruti Genuine Parts.Payment Processing: Accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, UPI, and net banking transactions.Reconciliation: Match daily cash collections, credit card receipts, and digital transfers with generated sales receipts at the end of every shift.Customer Service: Greet customers, address billing inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate Spare Parts or Service Advisor.Daily Reporting: Prepare and submit daily sales reports and cash logs to the dealership Accountant/Branch Manager.Inventory Support: Assist in basic inventory tracking of spare parts during returns or exchanges, issuing credit memos as necessary.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation: Minimum 10 th pass; Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration is preferred.Fresher or Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in retail/automotive cashiering, billing, or accounts. Freshers with strong numerical and computer skills may also be considered.Skills:Proficiency in basic accounting software (like Tally) and MS Excel.Strong mathematical skills and ability to count cash quickly and accurately.Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
